On Thursday, Porsche India announced the introduction of two new models in the nation. The 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 and the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 are the latest additions to Porsche's mid-engine sports car lineup. The former is priced at 1,46,50,000 (Ex-Showroom), while the latter is priced at 1,49,78,000 (Ex-Showroom) (Ex-Showroom).

The Porsche 718 Cayman is a two-door coupe type, while the Porsche 718 Boxter is a two-door cabriolet vehicle. Exterior body improvements include tinted LED headlamps with LED DRLS, a GTS-specific front apron, 20-inch satin black alloy wheels, black external airblades, wider air intakes, and a black front spoiler on the newest iterations of these sportscars.

The GTS 4.0 models, which are powered by a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder flat engine, are the 718's evolutionary pinnacle. This engine is able to produce 395 bhp of maximum power and 430 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a PDK automatic transmission with seven speeds.

Porsche Stability Management control, torque vectoring, electromechanical power steering, launch control, and the Sport Chrono package are all standard on both new models. Furthermore, the new Porsche 718 GTS vehicles are equipped with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) sports suspension, which includes firmer springs and anti-roll bars.

Both new Porsche models include a seven-inch touchscreen display with Porsche Communication Management as standard equipment (PCM). There's also a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 4.6-inch colour screen, automatic air conditioning, steering-mounted controls, and other features.
