TVS Motor Company had announced the launch of Apache RTR 165 RP under a performance based RP series. The bike has been given a response as expected. All units of this bike have been sold out shortly after the launch. In fact, only 200 units were launched online by TVS Motor under the Special Edition. TVS is set to launch several new exclusive bikes under RP series in the coming few days.
TVS Apache RTR graphics like GP 165R Race Bike are also being provided in RP 165. It has more than 160 4V powerful variants Apache RTR present in the bike market. The bike is said to be worth Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), which is said to be 30,000 more expensive than the base variant of RTR 160 4V.
Engines will get more powerful: The reason for the price hike is being attributed to its better performance. It uses the GP 165R engine, which is available with cosmetic updates. TVS Apache RTR is equipped with 165 RP 164.9 cc single-cylinder four-valve engine, generating a maximum power output of 18.9 BHP at 10,000 RPM and peak torque of 14.2 Nm at 8,750 RPM.
Many new features will be available: Talking about other features in VS Apache RTR 165 RP, it has a Signature Front Position Lamp (FPL), segment-first 240 mm rear disc brake, TVS racing dicks with unique graphics after tricolour theme, slipper clutch, adjustable clutch and brake lever, rear radial. In addition, many other features such as tyres, red-painted alloy wheels, brass coated drive chains and sprokets, and new seat patterns are also going to be seen.
