Bhopal: POSHAN Abhiyaan, or National Nutrition Mission, is the Government of India’s flagship program to improve nutritional outcomes for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers. The Madhya Pradesh Government on Tuesday approved the Poshan Niti-2020 prepared by the Women and Child Development Department for providing comprehensive nutrition and health protection to all segments especially children, adolescents and women; it was officially learnt.
At the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday through video conferencing under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, approval was given to the State’s Poshan Niti-2020
The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Policy 2019 has been issued with the objective of developing a supportive and proactive ecosystem. New rules were cleared vis-à-vis land allotment. A provision has been made for allocation in industrial areas through online auction.
The gathering sanctioned – with retrospective effect – implementation of the Mukhya Mantri COVID-19 Yoddha Kalyan Scheme from April 1 to May 31, gave a green signal to various points of the COVID-19 Bal Kalyan Scheme for orphans and ratified the Mukhya Mantri COVID-19 Vishesh Anugrah Yojana.
Free government security of Rs 29,400 crore will be provided this fiscal for procurement of grain, etc under a decentralised scheme, operation of the public distribution system and other schemes, deficit fulfillment and continuity of the current financial system.
