The pan-India film "Kalki 2898 AD," starring Prabhas, has taken the box office by storm. After a long wait, the film was finally released worldwide on June 27, 2024, and it created a sensation as soon as it hit the screens. Following a spectacular opening, the film continued to perform well on the second day, and now, on the third day, "Kalki 2898 AD" has achieved record-breaking earnings. The film has even surpassed Prabhas's previous hit, "Salaar."

According to Sacnilk's figures, "Kalki 2898 AD" opened with a domestic box office collection of ₹95.3 crore. On the second day, Prabhas's film garnered ₹57.6 crore. Over the weekend, "Kalki 2898 AD" made a strong collection of ₹67.1 crore, entering the ₹200 crore club at the domestic box office.

"Kalki 2898 AD" has made its entry into the ₹200 crore club within three days of its release at the domestic box office, with a total business of ₹220 crore in India. The film, released in multiple languages, collected ₹126.9 crore in Telugu, ₹12.8 crore in Tamil, ₹72.5 crore in Hindi, ₹1.1 crore in Kannada, and ₹6.7 crore in Malayalam in India.

With its three-day collection, "Kalki 2898 AD" has broken the record of Prabhas's last year's release, "Salaar." "Salaar," released last year, had an opening of ₹90.7 crore at the domestic box office and made ₹209.1 crore within three days.

"Kalki 2898 AD" is a sci-fi action film directed by Nag Ashwin. Besides Prabhas, the film features Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan in significant roles. Additionally, the film includes cameos by Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan.
