New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was supposed to visit Denmark in the past. But he could not go because he did not get permission from the Ministry of External Affairs. A political uproar broke out on this. The Aam Aadmi Party targeted the BJP over this. But the government has given its clarification on this. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said that 'this is the mayor's level conference, in which ministers are going to participate from West Bengal'.

Let us tell you that Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, had sought permission to participate in the COP-40 for the environment in Denmark from 09 to 12 October. On Tuesday, the Ministry of External Affairs had rejected Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's permission to travel abroad. Also said that it should not be viewed politically. There are many other important reasons behind this.

When he was questioned about this Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, instead of saying more, he only said that the conference he wanted to attend is the mayor level conference, in which the minister is going from West Bengal. Her direct gesture was that she was not the Chief Minister's level conference. Significantly, the last several days have made the Aam Aadmi Party the issue of not allowing him to travel abroad. It is known that this was Kejriwal's first foreign tour after forming the government in Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party has said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was not allowed to visit Denmark.
