New Delhi: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has recently said something in the midst of the farmer movement that has brought him into the discussions. Recently, he has described the Rajasthan Panchayat election results as a decision of the farmers in favour of the BJP. He also said that in the Zilla Parishad elections, 636 seats were contested, out of which BJP has won 353 seats. BJP has won 1990 seats out of 4371 panchayat Samiti seats. In his statement, Javadekar also described Rajasthan's victory as a big win. He said, 'BJP won on 14 of the 21 district councils. While Congress won at 5. Of the 222 seats in the block panchayat, BJP got a majority on 93 of the elections.
He further said, 'The trend has been that the one who has a government in the state gets more success in these elections, but this time it is the opposite. There is a Congress government in Rajasthan while voters have supported the BJP this time. Congress was limited, it also showed the emphasis of money but nothing happened. Among the 2.5 crore voters, all were farmers, which means that crores of farmers in Rajasthan are in favour of agricultural reform'. He further referred to the results of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election. He also talked about BJP's victory despite Corona and misinformation.
