New Delhi: After the Central Government abolished Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, all measures are being taken to normalize the situation. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the situation has been normal in most parts of Kashmir. Therefore restrictions have been lifted from most areas. Now this order is limited to only 13 to 14 police station areas.

The most important thing is that not a single shot was fired in these areas and no one was injured. The government said that the restrictive orders imposed under Section 144 of the CrPC are limited to only a few police station areas and there have been no cases of police firing or use of tear gas. 30 days after abolishing Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, restrictions have been relaxed in most areas on Tuesday, but the markets are still closed and public traffic on the roads has not started.

Officials in Srinagar said that in the daytime, 90 per cent of the valley areas are not facing any kind of problem. Sanctions have been lifted in 92 police station areas and the situation is improving soon here. Home Minister Amit Shah has assured to provide two lakh insurance and police protection to the sarpanches of Jammu and Kashmir. The government is paying special attention to sarpanches for building trust in the state.
