New Delhi: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has attributed former Congress President Rahul Gandhi to the violence that took place during a farmers' tractor parade in Delhi on Republic Day. He has said that it is not enough to condemn the violence in Delhi, but it is also necessary to punish the culprits.

Talking about the violence at the Red Fort, Javadekar said that the country will never forget the humiliation of tricolour. He said that sometimes it seems that all these people who are losers in the elections are trying to unite and spoil the atmosphere in the country. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar addressed a press conference at the BJP headquarters on Wednesday. He said, "It is not enough to condemn the Delhi riots that took place yesterday, whoever instigated it should be punished. India will never forget the humiliation of the tricolour. Congress has given air to the movement of these farmers."

Javadekar added, "Rahul Gandhi has not only supported but also provoked them. He did the same during the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He had instigated people to take to the streets and then the agitation started from the second day. Congress has deliberately instigated the farmers. The tweets of organizations related to the Youth Congress Congress yesterday are proof of this."
