It has become widely known that actress Prakruti Mishra will compete on Bigg Boss 16. Currently, news on Odisha TV claims that her former co-star Babushaan Mohanty is in the hospital. Following a drop in oxygen levels, he has spent the last six days recovering in a private hospital. Prakruti Mishra was assaulted on the road in July 2022 by Trupti Sathpathy, the wife of Babushaan Mohanty, her father Lalit, and a few thugs. They were both going to the airport for a Utkal Diwas event, so it appears he had to go pick her up. Trupti Sathpathy dragged Prakruti out onto the street and assaulted her.
According to Babushaan Mohanty, his wife shouldn't behave in this way. It appears that the couple's relationship had become strained for a variety of reasons. Babushaan Mohanty and Prakruti Mishra had reportedly become close during this time, at least according to Trupti Sathpathy. In a later video, Babushaan Mohanty apologized to his wife and father-in-law while holding his hands in a prayerful position. They didn't comprehend the nature of the film industry, he claimed. He claimed that contrary to popular belief, he and Prakruti Mishra were simply friends. If this were to happen, he even claimed that he would stop working with her and any other female actress.

He added that she had visited Manmath Mishra, Prakruti's father, to explain the situation to him. Additionally, he claimed that his daughter-in-law may have gotten some proof of the two, which prompted her irrational outburst on the highway. But according to Babushaan Mohanty, his wife's and his in-laws' actions were wholly unacceptable. According to reports, Prakruti Mishra will appear on Bigg Boss 16 with Salman Khan.
