Patna: After the death of 31 people due to spurious liquor in Chhapra, Bihar. The opposition has opened a front against the state's Nitish government. BJP is targeting the government. The BJP is calling it a government-sponsored genocide and is demanding the resignation of CM Nitish Kumar. At the same time, Prashant Kishore (PK), who was once very special to Nitish Kumar, has also attacked the Chief Minister of the state regarding prohibition. Election strategist-turned-politician Prashant Kishor has called the liquor ban a failed plan and demanded its repeal within 48 hours. Prashant Kishor has attacked the BJP, Nitish Kumar, and Tejashwi Yadav all three for the failure of the prohibition law.

PK further said that we have raised the first voice on prohibition. The people of BJP who are creating a ruckus in the assembly today supported the liquor ban for 5 years by staying with JDU. He said that people should ask questions to the BJP when they were in the government, what work did they do to remove prohibition? Along with this, PK said that the political parties of Bihar should clarify their stand regarding prohibition. PK also took a dig at RJD regarding the liquor ban and said that when RJD and Tejashwi Yadav were in opposition, were surrounding the Nitish government regarding the liquor ban. Now he himself is running the government, so he is finding prohibition right.

Prashant Kishor, who went on a padayatra under Jan Suraj Abhiyan, said that people living around Nitish Kumar themselves drink alcohol, and then talk about prohibition in front of Nitish Kumar. Whoever knows Nitish Kumar, they all also know that the officers who live around him (Nitish) drink alcohol. Prashant said that it is a very ridiculous thing that the CM of a state and DM of a district calls SP, and asks them to take an oath that they will catch people doing liquor business and take action against them. Whereas the officers living close to him drink alcohol.
