Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Mumbai City FC said on Tuesday that it has decided to part with its defender Prateek Chaudhary. Mumbai City gave its information on Twitter. Chaudhary played for Mumbai City FC in only one season and during this time he also scored a goal.

The Mumbai team finished fifth in that season and were eliminated from the playoffs. Chaudhary has also played for Jamshedpur FC. Mumbai City wrote on Twitter, "After contributing for the team for a year and showing commitment, Prateek Chaudhary is separating. Wish you all the best for the future."

Prateek said, "It is a matter of pride and honor for me to play for my hometown club Mumbai City in one season. I would like to thank the entire management, coaching staff and all my colleagues in the club."
