Hyderabad; Can you imagine a thief holding a sit-down before stealing, holding an ear and several times bowing to the idol of mother Durga and apologizing and then stealing the crown of the goddess and running away. The same has been observed in Durga Bhavani temple in Abids area of Hyderabad, Telangana, last Thursday evening i.e. November 21, 2019. The movement of the thief was captured on the CCTV camera installed in the temple.

 According to the information received, the video apologizing before stealing the crown of a middle-aged thief has become increasingly viral on social media, which caused the temple administration and police to be ashamed. The police also faced protests from the people. Police are investigating the street to catch the thief, but so far nothing has been known. In the video, the accused wearing a blue shirt is seen praying in front of the idol of the goddess for some time. Not only this, by holding his ear, he is bowing repeatedly in front of the idol and holding a sit-up.

Theft occurred at 6:30 pm: According to the information received, it was ascertained that Abids Inspector Kandula Ravi Kumar said, 'The incident is at 6.22 pm when the temple was opened to devotees. Prior to the robbery, the accused was also looking at whether anyone was seeing him. After this he ran away hiding a crown in his clothes. As soon as he came out of the temple, he started the bike comfortably and escaped from there. Police has registered a case under section 380 of IPC.
