President Droupadi Murmu Set to Unveil Major Projects in Indore and Ujjain

President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Indore and Ujjain on September 18-19, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav confirmed. During her visit, the President will perform the Bhoomi Pujan for the Ujjain-Indore Six Lane Road and participate in a special event at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) in Indore.

The visit aligns with the inauguration of several key projects across the state, starting on September 17, coinciding with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. CM Yadav has urged all ministers to actively participate in district-level events under their jurisdiction, encouraging them to adapt the programs to local needs. Additionally, Jan Aushadhi Kendras, which provide affordable medicines, will be inaugurated on the same day.

Air Cargo Facilities at Rewa Airport

In a significant development for the state's infrastructure, CM Yadav announced that Rewa Airport, Madhya Pradesh's first new airport since 1978, will soon launch air cargo services. This initiative is aimed at boosting the region's economy by enhancing trade and transport opportunities.

Yadav also highlighted the state's proposal to the Central Government for soybean procurement at support prices, benefiting local farmers. Furthermore, he mentioned that the rights of corporation chairmen would be transferred to respective ministers, empowering them to make more effective decisions.

Delimitation Commission and District Boundaries

To address discrepancies in district boundaries, the Madhya Pradesh government has formed a Delimitation Commission. CM Yadav emphasized that ministers should assess and resolve issues within their areas, gathering feedback from residents to ensure better governance.
