Kanpur Dehat: President Ram Nath Kovind recently reached his native village. As soon as he reached here, he first touched his motherland. I took blessings from Pathri Devi and before coming here, I laid a garland on the statue of Baba Saheb.'' At the same time, the President also said, "The Chief Minister has directed to install a large marble statue of Baba Saheb.''

He also said, "The decision to give your house to the Gram Panchayat seems to be correct. The Chief Minister has said that schemes related to women can be operated there. I went to Jhalakaribai Vidyalaya, there is also a temple of Shivaji, I visited there.'' He further narrated his memoirs and said, "You are also a citizen and So am I. I didn't dream of leaving the village and reaching Rashtrapati Bhavan. It is no longer that only the distinguished family members held big positions.'' Referring to the development works, he further said, "The work of freight corridors will greatly benefit the traders. The path to Rashtrapati Bhavan has been opened for the UP people. You can also get there.''

Referring to his visit to become president, he said, "I have reached here because of memory with this village and your affection. The mother and father were honored today which is our tradition. It was scheduled to come here in 2019 but could not come to Delhi due to the democratic process. Corona did not allow it to come in 2020. But there was contact with the villagers. The soil and memories of the village are always with me.''

Moving forward, he also said, "My village lives in my heart. 1000 salutations to this earth. The Chief Minister had said in a meeting in Delhi that it will continue to rain, you go to Parunkh. Good houses have been built in the village. The market scene also looked good. I was welcomed by the villagers through a shower of flowers. Jaswant Singh, Vinaypal Singh, Haribhan, Chandrabhan, Dashrath Singh Yadav these friends have an important place in my life. Ram Manohar Lohia Ji was brought to Parunkh village Bajrang Singh Ji who was a relative of Dashrath Singh Ji. I spent 14-15 years in the village, I can't forget the memories here. I always thought of building a school, which led to the construction of Jhalakaribai Vidyalaya.''
