New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind has accepted the resignation of Union Minister and Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant. Arvind Sawant was in charge of the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises in the Central Government. But due to the ongoing political tussle in Maharashtra, he resigned from the post of Union Minister on Monday.

In fact, on Monday, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari sent an invitation to the Shiv Sena to form the government, is the second-largest party in the state assembly elections.
