Mahaparinirvan Divas celebrated across the country, President and PM paid tribute to Babasaheb

New Delhi: On the occasion of Mahaparinirvana Day of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the creator of the Indian Constitution, he is being remembered all over the country today. All the leaders paid floral tributes to Babasaheb in the Parliament House in the morning. President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, PM Narendra Modi, former PM Manmohan Singh, and other leaders paid floral tributes to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's portrait and paid tribute to him.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) also paid tribute to Baba Saheb on his death anniversary. The RSS tweeted and wrote, "There is a need to follow the thoughts of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Ambedkar daily. His life is inspiring. National interest was paramount for him. He showed the right direction to his followers. He tried to build equality and fraternity society. Hundreds of congratulations on his death anniversary.''

At the same time, today the BJP is also remembering Baba Saheb by organizing programs all over the country. Dr. Ambedkar's death anniversary is being celebrated as Mahaparinirvana Day every year. The programs are being organized by the Scheduled Caste Morcha (SC) of the BJP. A program will be organized at BJP headquarters here from 12 noon, in which a tribute to Dr. Ambedkar will be discussed along with his work.
