The new Chief Vigilance Commissioner of the country, Sanjay Kothari has been made. He has been working as Secretary to the President. According to media sources, the officials informed on Wednesday that Kothari has been elected as the new Chief Vigilance Commissioner by a high-powered committee headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He is working as Information Commissioner in Central Information Commission. A senior government official said Kothari and Julka have been chosen as the next CVC and CIC. Both Sanjay Kothari and Bimal Julka are retired Indian Administrative Service officers.
