Patna: Voting for the presidential election is scheduled to be held tomorrow. In such a situation, all the parties have made their own preparations. All the formalities regarding the voting have also been almost completed. Meanwhile, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has taken a dig at NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu. "We don't want a statue in Rashtrapati Bhavan.  

At the same function, Tejashwi Yadav said, "We are electing the President. We don't want any Statue in Rashtrapati Bhavan.'' He further said, "No one has heard Draupadi Murmu Ji speaking. We don't think anyone has heard her voice.'' Tejashwi has said, "Ever since she became a candidate, she has not even held a single press conference. While we have all heard the opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha.''

After the presidential election, elections are also to be held for the post of Vice-President. NDA has fielded West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar for this election. His name was announced on Saturday. The notification for the vice-presidential election has been issued on July 5. Candidates can file their nominations till July 19. The Commission has fixed August 6 as the date for the elections. The term of the country's current Vice President Venkaiah Naidu ends on August 11.
