President-PM Modi extends easter greetings in a unique way

New Delhi: Easter, the religious and important festival of Christians, is being celebrated across the world today with pomp and show. According to Christian traditions, on the third day of Good Friday, Jesus Christ was resurrected. The Easter festival is celebrated in the joy of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is celebrated by the people of the Christian community as Easter Sunday. President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi have extended their greetings on the occasion of Easter.
 
President Ram Nath Kovind took to Twitter to wish everyone on easter. He described the festival as an opportunity to celebrate and inspire you to walk the path of forgiveness, sacrifice and love. Pm Narendra Modi tweeted, "Happy Easter! We remember the thoughts and ideas of Jesus Christ and social justice as well as compassion. The spirit of happiness and brotherhood in our society increased.''

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while wishing us on the occasion of Easter, wrote that peace and harmony may prevail around us. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also extended his greetings on the easter festival. He wrote that the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ may carry forward the spirit of harmony, love and compassion in our society.
