NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted Telangana residents on their 'Statehood Day' on Thursday.
President Ram Nath Kovind said in his greeting message to the people of Telangana, "On the occasion of Telangana's Statehood Day, I extend my best wishes to the people of Telangana. Telangana has achieved significant progress on development indices and emerged as a destination for enterprises, thanks to its rich culture and tradition. I hope it continues to thrive and fulfil people's dreams."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated, "On the state's formation day, greetings to my Telangana sisters and brothers. Telangana's people are known for their tenacity and unwavering commitment to national advancement. The state's culture is well-known around the world. I hope for the people of Telangana's well-being."
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, stated in a tweet, "On the occasion of Telangana's statehood day, greetings and best wishes to the people of Telangana. Telangana is blessed with industrious youth who are dedicated to the advancement of the state. In the future years, I pray for the state's growth and prosperity."
Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister, stated, "On the occasion of the state's formation day, best wishes to the people of Telangana. The state is noted for its hardworking citizens and diverse culture. I'm hoping for Telangana's success and prosperity in the future."
