HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao conveyed greetings to the people of Telangana on the eve of Telangana Formation Day on Thursday. Telangana became a state on June 2, 2014, and that day is known as Telangana Day or Telangana Formation Day.
KCR said that the formation of a new state, Telangana, has been made possible by people's sacrifices, and that the state was constructed in the same spirit. "Telangana has continued to prosper and has served as a model for the rest of the country," he remarked. The Chief Minister stated that this is a proud occasion for every Telangana citizen, as it will make them happy and remind them of the state's progress in various spheres.
Telangana has had qualitative progress in a range of sectors, including agriculture, irrigation, power, education, and health, he said. The Union Government's and other national and international agencies' announcements of prizes and rewards are proof of the state's progress, he noted.
Rao claimed that the Telangana State had achieved unparalleled growth in terms of assuring people's welfare and development over the last eight years by adopting numerous initiatives. In terms of industry, infrastructure development, trade and commerce, and so on, Telangana is building the country, he remarked. Rao added that the State Government is providing people-centered government with the utmost transparency and economic discipline.
Meanwhile, officials announced on Tuesday that the Ministry of Culture will hold Telangana Formation Day festivities in Delhi on June 2 with Union Home Minister Amit Shah as the prime guest.
