According to rumours, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want to leave their Montecito estate. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly been "searching" for a new residence because their current one no longer "fully accommodate[s]" them, according to a recent article in the Santa Barbara News-Press. According to reports, the pair is interested in Hope Ranch homes.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex relocated to Hope Ranch in March 2020 with their son, Archie, after resigning from their royal duties and moving to the US. Hope Ranch is a private neighbourhood about 10 miles from Montecito. Lilibet Diana, a baby girl who was born to the couple in June, is now a part of the family. According to The Daily Mail, the new neighbourhood Harry and Meghan are considering includes a country club and a golf club that are exclusive to members, as well as access to tennis courts, picnic areas, and a system of horse trails.

Additionally, the rumoured transfer by Prince Harry and Meghan comes two months after it was revealed that their residence had experienced many break-ins scares in May. Following Queen Elizabeth's passing, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent some time in the UK. They also attended all the funeral services to pay their respects to the late monarch. The couple recently returned to the US.
As a result of Queen Elizabeth's passing, reports have suggested that the royal couple has been further delaying their upcoming Netflix docu-series. It is widely believed that they want to minimise the conversations about King Charles III and other senior members of the royal family that are included in it.
