The legendary singer Asha Bhosle made her wish reveal to B-town, if any person planning to make her biopic, they should cast none other than our desi girl 'Priyanka Chopra'

She on her 83rd birthday, said to media when asked to who she wants to play her character, "Priyanka Chopra. Because she is also a singer. So she can understand a singer well."

Asha also desire Bollywood to make biopic on her famous musician husband RD Burman. She said, "The music he made was 40-50 years ahead of its time, not of the past. He worked very hard on his music, tunes. Yes, a biopic on him should be made, so that people get to hear his music again if a film is made. For people who have forgotten it, a biopic will be good (reminder)."

A trend of making biopic is increasing in Bollywood. The upcoming flick MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and while films like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Mary Kom have done well, there have been films like Sarbjit, Azhar which haven't been able to capture the true essence of story. Also awaited biopics are Sanjay Dutt's biopic and biopic of Kishore Kumar.
