UP: Priyanka's letter to CM Yogi says corona testing is not taking place in villages

Lucknow: Congress party national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has written to UP CM Yogi Adityanath raising the issue of non-corona testing in Uttar Pradesh. Priyanka Vadra said corona tests are not taking place in rural areas of the state and it is difficult to check even in cities. She demanded that the government give relief to the public with immediate effect.

In a letter to CM Yogi Adityanath, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that there is a huge shortage of beds, oxygen, medicines in hospitals and black marketing is taking place. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra demanded that an economic package be announced for health workers and frontline workers, check-up centres should be opened in rural areas, life-saving drugs should be distributed, oxygen storage centres should be set up in each district. Priyanka Gandhi's letter has not received any response from the chief minister's office.

CM Yogi Adityanath had yesterday said that some people are trying to scare people by spreading rumours, there is no shortage of beds, oxygen, remdesivir injections, medicines in Uttar Pradesh hospitals and no shortage of medicines will be allowed. CM Yogi had said that strict action will be taken against hoarders and black-marketeers during the corona era.
