New Delhi: In a stunning prelude to the highly anticipated third assembly of the Opposition coalition known as the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), Priyanka Kakkar, the spokesperson of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), ignited a political firestorm today by endorsing Arvind Kejriwal, the party's convenor and the incumbent Chief Minister of Delhi, as a potential prime ministerial candidate for the alliance.

On Wednesday, Priyanka Kakkar, the spokesperson of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), put forward the idea of Arvind Kejriwal, the party's leader, as the head of the opposition coalition INDIA. Kakkar highlighted that Kejriwal, as the Chief Minister of Delhi, has consistently brought attention to people's concerns and has set a precedent that has resulted in the national capital experiencing remarkably low inflation rates

Kakkar unreservedly expressed her desire, stating, "In my opinion, Arvind Kejriwal should undoubtedly be considered as the front-runner for the esteemed position of the Prime Ministerial candidate within the Opposition alliance."

Kakkar went on to highlight Kejriwal's tenacious commitment to advocating for public interests, emphasizing his emergence as a formidable contender to challenge the stronghold of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the nation's highest executive office. "Arvind Kejriwal has consistently demonstrated unwavering resolve in articulating his perspectives on a wide array of subjects, whether it pertains to the Prime Minister's educational credentials, qualifications, or any other critical matters," Kakkar said.

While this proclamation is poised to cast ripples through the already charged political waters before the imminent INDIA meeting, slated to commence later today and extend into Thursday, Kakkar reaffirmed INDIA's overarching commitment to steering the nation towards a new trajectory.

Citing the unswerving efforts of the AAP-led government, Kakkar proclaimed that despite the persistent inflation affecting essential commodities and food items, the national capital under AAP's administration boasts of having "the most minimal" inflation rate. She detailed the government's initiatives such as providing free water, education, electricity, bus rides for women, and subsidized pilgrimages for the elderly, all within a fiscally prudent framework. "Kejriwal remains a steadfast advocate for people's concerns and has unmistakably risen as a formidable contender against the present Prime Minister, Narendra Modi," the AAP spokesperson emphasized.

The imminent third summit of the newly formed opposition conglomerate is expected to draw participation from approximately 26 to 27 political entities. This diverse assembly is slated to convene on September 1st in Mumbai. Key deliberations during this gathering will encompass the coalition's strategic blueprints preceding forthcoming state elections and the momentous general elections slated for the forthcoming year. Additionally, speculations are ripe that the alliance's official emblem will be unveiled during the two-day convocation.

With the participation of 26 parties, including the Congress, the coalition has united against the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the nation's center. This grand alliance was inaugurated under the aegis of Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in an inaugural meeting held in Patna on June 23.
