Priyanka Vadra speaks to Alwar gang rape victim's father, assures help

Lucknow: Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has spoken to the victim's father in connection with the gang rape of a deaf Dalit girl in Alwar. On Friday night, he spoke to the victim's father over phone and inquired about the health of the girl. At the same time, the victim has also expressed sympathy with the family.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra asked the victim's father if he needed any help. How is the investigation of the case growing, are they happy with the investigation so far or not? In response, the victim's father told Priyanka that the administration was getting full support in the matter. Earlier, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot had also spoken to the victim's father twice. CM Ashok Gehlot has directed the local administration and police to provide all possible assistance.

On Saturday, a BJP delegation reached Alwar village to meet the victim's family. The BJP delegation is led by BJP MP from Alwar Balaknath. A meeting of all the members was also held in Alwar on the issue. The case discussed possible paths ahead. The meeting was also attended by several BJP leaders including Alwar MP Balaknath and Shiromani Akali Dal (Shi'ad) leaders.
