Bhopal: Congress had said in the promise letter to close the Professional Examination Board (PEB) now before the Vidhan Sabha elections. After the formation of the government, its preparations also started. The officers and employees of the board were also skeptical, but after the BJP government came back to power, the possibility of its closure has ended.

However, the board has also released this year's calendar. This year the board is going to conduct 11 examinations. The revised time table of 2020 examinations has also been released by PEB. There will be six entrance tests, one eligibility test and four recruitment tests. So far this year, PEB has conducted only one exam 'Teacher Eligibility Test'. After this, no examination could be conducted due to lockdown.

Last year, the Central and State Government had made a lot of changes in the reservation rules. Due to this all the recruitment examinations were stuck.
