Protest against 'Agneepath' shocked Bihar internet shut down in 15 districts

Patna: In Bihar, the battle is going on in the streets regarding the new scheme of army recruitment, Agneepath. The anger of the youth in Bihar about Agneepath does not seem to be stopping. For the third consecutive day, the demonstration continues in Bihar. Young people are on the streets. On Saturday morning, youths came out on the streets in Jehanabad and started arson.

In Tehta of Jehanabad district, protesters torched a truck and a bus. This case is near Tehta Out Post. The protesters also pelted stones. Stones are scattered on the road. On receiving the news of the matter, a heavy police force has reached the spot. The Collector and Superintendent of Police of Jehanabad also reached the spot after receiving the news of arson and stone pelting by the protesters. Efforts are being made by the police force to control the situation by persuading the protesters.

Many districts of Bihar are burning in the fire of Agneepath. Protesters set fire to many vehicles in 3 days and also set fire to many trains. In view of the deteriorating situation, the Bihar government has suspended internet service in 15 districts of the state. This order to suspend internet service will be applicable till tomorrow which means till June 19. Several student organizations have called for a Bihar bandh today amid violent protests against the Agneepath scheme for army recruitment. RJD, Hindustan Awam Morcha and Vikassheel Insaan Party have also supported the Bihar bandh of student organizations.
