Puducherry: At this time in Puducherry, Congress is trying to save its power. On February 22, Chief Minister V Narayanasamy is going to give a floor test to prove his majority. In the midst of all this, two more MLAs of the Congress alliance have resigned, making the Congress more troubled. In fact, Congress legislator K Laxmi Narayan and MLA Venkatesan of the allied party Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) have announced their resignations on Sunday. Before this, 4 more Congress MLAs have also resigned.

Now it has to be seen what is going to happen next. Now that a total of 5 MLAs of Congress and 1 DMK MLA have resigned and one has been disqualified, the party has 12 MLAs left in total. Talking about the opposition, the party currently has 14 members, including 7 NRC's 4 AIADMK's, and three nominated by Kiran Bedi. Amidst all this, the government of Chief Minister Narayanasamy has come to the verge of being out of power.

The BJP has recently claimed that Narayanasamy's government will not be able to prove a majority in the Assembly and fall in the floor test. CM V. Narayanasamy says that 'we have full figures and we will prove it by showing a majority.' Now it has to be seen today that 'Congress can save its impregnable fort or it can be attacked by BJP.'
