Punjab CM Amarinder Singh receives death threat, Police files FIR

Amarinder: Capt Amarinder Singh, CM of Punjab, has received threats to kill him. The police administration has swung into action after Captain Amarinder was threatened. Police have started an attempt to arrest the person threatening the Chief Minister by registering a case against the unknown in this case. A case has been registered at Phase 11 police station in Mohali for threatening to kill CM Amarinder. This is the first FIR of this year i.e. 2021.

It is being told that the poster threatening to kill CM Captain Amarinder Singh was put on the public guide map. It was written that a reward of 1 million dollars was given to the person who killed the CM. A case has been registered against the unknown in the case under Section 504, 506, 120B, 34 of IPC and Section-3, 4 and 5 of Punjab Prevention of Displacement Property Ordinance Act. The support of the cyber team is also being taken to arrest the accused.

Police is also investigating CCTV installed nearby. According to the information, the police was informed that a public guide map is installed at the light point of Sector-66/67 in Mohali. Somebody has threatened to kill him by putting a picture of Captain Amarinder Singh on this map. When the police team reached there, saw that someone took a print out of the picture of CM Captain Amarinder Singh and wrote on it that whoever killed Captain Amarinder Singh would be given a reward of one million dollars.
