On the call of CM, Punjab Pradesh Congress President Sunil Jakhar, Cabinet Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, MLA Amarinder Singh Raja Wadding, Pargat Singh and Sangat Singh Giljia reached him. According to sources, all the present leaders once again raised the issue of excise policy and removal of Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh in front of the Chief Minister.

He will make a decision after deliberation after the return of Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal. Significantly, Manpreet Badal is in Muktsar since the death of his father. He is also a member of the committee that assesses the loss of contracts closed in curfew and lockdown.
