Congress gears up for Punjab elections, crucial meeting today, Manifesto will be ready in 15 days

Amritsar: Preparations for next year's assembly elections in Punjab have intensified. The Congress party is going to hold a big meeting with all the newly appointed presidents on Wednesday to brainstorm on the elections. It will be led by Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Chaudhary. State Congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu has informed about this.

Sidhu wrote in his tweet, "A meeting of all newly appointed district collectors has been convened at Congress Bhawan Chandigarh at 4 pm to brainstorm on the upcoming 2022 assembly elections. The meeting will be led by Harish Chaudhary.' Just two days before that, on Monday, the Congress had constituted a state election committee for Punjab. The command of which has been entrusted to Navjot Singh Sidhu. While CM Charanjeet Singh Channi has been ranked second as a member.

On the other hand, it is being reported that the Congress manifesto for the Punjab elections will be ready in 15 days. Punjab Pradesh Manifesto Committee Chairman Pratap Singh Bajwa said he has already started his work for the same. Bajwa met entrepreneurs in Ludhiana. He had earlier launched the 'Awaaz Punjab Di' website at Congress Bhawan, a website created by the party's social media wing. People can give their suggestions on the manifesto.
