Chandigarh: The deadly coronavirus wreaked havoc all around the globe. As of now, the number of people who have died from this virus has exceeded 18000. On Wednesday, another corona case came to light in Punjab and with this the number of positive cases in the state increased to 31. The report of Pathi's son found corona positive in Hoshiarpur also came positive on Wednesday. Civil surgeon Hoshiarpur doctor Jasvir Singh has confirmed this.

According to the information, the worst effect of Corona has been on Nawanshahar in the state. After Amritsar, Mohali, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar and Ludhiana were also added to the number of victims from Corona. A case has come up in Ludhiana. 5 cases have been reported in Mohali, 3 in Jalandhar, 2 in Amritsar and one in Hoshiarpur district. It is also being said that as per the information released by the state government, on Tuesday, seven more people suffering from corona in the state were admitted to the isolation ward. At present, his condition is stable, but three of them are from Phillaur town in Jalandhar district. Three other cases are related to Baldev Singh of Nawanshahar, who died due to Coronavirus in the past. Reports of his relatives and 17 people related to the deceased have also come positive.

CORONAVIRUS: Third suspect of corona found in Panipat

Till Tuesday, the Health Department conducted a sample investigation in 282 suspected cases. Out of these, samples of 220 people have been found negative, while investigation report of 32 people is awaited. These 32 people and their close people have been kept under intense surveillance. A suspected patient of Fatehgarh Sahib was sent to PGI Chandigarh, where the patient died due to some other disease. According to the PGI test report, the symptoms of Covid-19 were not found in the patient.
