Amritsar: The controversy over Punjab Congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu's statement on Punjab Police is not going to stop. Chandigarh Police DSP Chandel has sent a defamation notice to PCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu. Not only that, DSP has warned that if Sidhu does not apologize within 21 days, a case will be registered against him.

Recently, Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu praised two Congress leaders. In the meantime, he had crossed all limits and said that these two leaders were so powerful that the police officer's pants were wet in front of them. More importantly, the defamation notice issued by the police does not seek compensation. It says that the police's dignity and status are much more than money.

Sidhu had coined the ballads in the glory of MLA Navtej Cheema and Ashwani Sekhdi. After this, he was heavily criticized. Police officials say that Navjot Singh Sidhu has insulted the Punjab Police. Earlier, DSP Chandel had said that even a rickshaw driver will not listen to Navjot Singh Sidhu without a police escort. If you have a problem with your state's police, stop carrying heavy security with you.
