In India, the Punjab government has decided to increase the amount of X Gresia from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh for the families of the martyred soldiers. In his tweet, he said that for the soldiers who were martyred in military action, they have decided to increase the amount of Xgrasia from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh and the next heir of the martyr will get a government job.

He said that we can do at least this much for our brave soldiers. Till now, the state government used to give 10 to 12 lakh rupees in the form of ex-gratia to the families of the martyred soldiers. However, with this, heir of the martyr was also given a government job.

For your information, let us tell you that the decision to give the ex-gratia amount of Rs 10 to 12 lakh to the martyr's family was last taken in 1999. On Wednesday, the Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10-12 lakh each for the families of Naib Subedar Satnam Singh and Mandeep Singh, and Rs 10 lakh each for constables Gurtej Singh and Gurbinder Singh. Apart from this, each heir of these martyrs was declared a government job. Four soldiers of Punjab were among the 20 soldiers martyred in the conflict with the Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh.
