Mohali: The case of a 50-year-old man has surfaced in Mohali district of Punjab. The accused man first invited three innocent girls to the house on the pretext of his birthday. Then raped a girl by feeding her drugs, while molesting two. Police arrested the accused and registered a case against him.

A painter by profession 50-year-old Ramesh Chauhan has lived in a rented house in the village for the last 5 years. The mother of the victim girls has told that the three girls were playing outside the house at night. Meanwhile, Ramesh invited him into the house as an excuse for birthday. Ramesh fed the girl with drugs, which made her unconscious. Ramesh kept the girl's hostage for about 3 hours.

The family informed the police about the matter. Police said that after medical examination, the rape of a girl has been confirmed. A case has been registered against Ramesh Chauhan under the POSCO Act and other sections. The accused will be produced in a Mohali court on Friday.
