New Delhi: Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu's troubles are not coming to an end even after he left the Punjab Cabinet. According to reports, there have been fierce protests recently against MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu and councillor Jaswinder in New Preetnagar on Batala Road in Amritsar. People are worried that development is not taking place in their area.

Angry residents allege that Sidhu has not shown his mouth in his area since becoming an MLA in 2017. The people of Amritsar complain that Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of Navjot Singh Sidhu, has only assured development in the area, but nothing has been done. People are so enraged that even if Sidhu is too late to understand his responsibilities, he is warning them to surround him and blow his effigy.
