New Delhi: Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu's troubles are not coming to an end even after he left the Punjab Cabinet. His ministerial post went, he went to the bungalow, now the burden of ground hardships on his head has also increased. People in his area have started questioning him as to what he has done so far. Sidhu is alleged to have not even appeared in his constituency since winning the election. There have also been protests recently against him.

According to media reports, Sidhu, who joined the Congress with high expectations, is now seen to be completely isolated in his own party. It has also affected the people of their constituencies where their protest has started. According to reports, there have been fierce protests recently against MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu and councillor Jaswinder in New Preetnagar on Batala Road in Amritsar. People are worried that development is not taking place in their area.

Angry residents allege that Sidhu has not shown his mouth in his area since becoming an MLA in 2017. The people of Amritsar complain that Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of Navjot Singh Sidhu, has only assured development in the area, but nothing has been done. People are so enraged that even if Sidhu is too late to understand his responsibilities, he is warning them to surround him and blow his effigy.
