Amritsar: Punjab Police has busted two cadres of banned outfit Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) in Hoshiarpur district and busted its terror module. Punjab DGP Dinkar Gupta said that the arrested officer has been identified as Makhan Singh Gill alias Amli and Devender Singh alias Happy. Both are residents of Noorpur Jattan village in Hoshiarpur.

DGP Dinkar Gupta said the police have recovered modern weapons and ammunition from their possession. A white car, four mobile phones, and an internet dongle have been recovered with two MP5 sub-machine guns and a 9mm pistol. DGP said, after receiving input about the dangerous conspiracy of some pro-Khalistan elements, the security forces carried out large scale raids in the diocese. The security forces monitored the activities of several terror module members arrested earlier.

"This success is a result of the campaign and these coordinated efforts in the last few days. DGP said, "Makhan revealed in the initial interrogation that he was in touch with Harpreet Singh, a Canadian resident who had instigated both of them to erect terror modules to carry out killings in the state".
