Chandigarh:  The Punjab Police on Thursday busted a large espionage network. It is reported that the police have also arrested two people for sharing confidential information. The special thing is that Punjab Police is running a campaign to break Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI and the network of traitors. At present, the investigation is going on in this matter.

According to media reports, the state's Special Operation Cell Amritsar has arrested Zafar Riaz, a resident of Kolkata, and Mohammad Shamshad, a resident of Bihar, in intelligence action. Giving information, Punjab Police has told that both of them were living at a rented place at Mirakot Chowk in Amritsar. Police said that a case has been registered in the matter under sections of the Official Secrets Act and IPC. Let us tell you that recently the Intelligence Headquarters of Police in Mohali, Punjab was attacked. The accused had targeted the police office building with a rocket propelled grenade (RPG). On Friday, the Punjab Police had declared Lakhbir Singh Landa as the main conspirator in the case.

During the press conference, Director General of Punjab Police VK Bhavra had said that, 'The main conspirator is Lakhbir Singh Landa. He was a resident of Tarn Taran district of Punjab. He was a gangster and shifted to Canada in 2017. He was a close associate of Harinder Singh Rinda, chief of Babbar Khalsa International, Wadhwa Singh's special.
