Chandigarh: Navjot Singh Sidhu resigns as Punjab Congress President Charanjit Channi has hit out at the government as soon as he withdraws his resignation. Sidhu questioned the work done by the 90-day government of his own party (Congress) led by Charanjit Singh Channi. He raised two major issues of Punjab- Beyadbi and Drugs Case and explained what the Channi Government has done in 50 days. He also questioned the delay in making public the STF report on drugs.

Sidhu resigned as Punjab chief on September 28 this year but has now withdrawn his resignation. Sidhu hit out at his own government and newly appointed Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and asked what this government had done in the last 50 days after changing the CM, to open the report of the STF lodged in the High Court in the drugs case and to judge the cases of Guru Granth Sahib's atrocities.

Questioning the alleged delay in making the same STF report public, Sidhu said, "When the Chief Minister was replaced, it was an important issue. It's been 44-50 days, who stopped you?'' He further said, "What interest has the present Government expressed in getting justice in the case of cruelty and making the STF report public? If you don't have the courage to make the STF report public, give it to me or the party, I will do it.''
