Chandigarh: The names of faces joining the new cabinet in Punjab have been sealed. After long meetings with Rahul Gandhi and the Central High Command, the newly appointed Chief Minister of Punjab, Charanjit Singh Channi, has sealed the faces of his cabinet. The new cabinet faces will be sworn in at the Punjab Governor's House at 4.30 pm today (Sunday). The names of Charanjit Singh Channi, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Deputy CM, OP Soni, had already been finalised.

These names will be included in the Cabinet:-

4- Trapt Rajinder Bajwa
5- Kuljit Nagara
6- Pargat Singh
7- Sukhbinder Sarkaria
8- Vijay Inder Singla
9- Raj Kumar Verka
10- Rana Gurjit Singh
11- Sangat Giljiyan
12- Rakesh Pandey
13- Raja Wading
14- Razia Sultan
15- Gurkirat Kotli

Manpreet Badal played a key role in persuading the Congress high command in the name of Channi. It was because of Vijay Inder Singla's education minister that Punjab came number one in schools. Razia is the wife of Sultana Sidhu's strategic advisor Muhammad Mustafa. Aruna Chaudhary was also set to be removed but got the ministerial berth due to her relationship with Chief Minister Channi. Bharat Bhushan Ashu was not very close to the captain but has a good relationship with Rahul Gandhi. Trapt Bajwa and Sukh were in the group rebelling against the Captain, so they have also got back the ministerial post.
