Chandigarh: Two Congress MLAs of Punjab have fallen victim to global epidemic coronavirus. Congress MLA Balwinder Dhaliwal of Phagwara Assembly seat and Dr. Dharambir, MLA of Tarn Taran assembly seat have been found corona infected. State Chief Captain Amarinder Singh gave information in this regard on Sunday and wished both to get well soon.
Punjab CM Amarinder Singh tweeted, "My colleague Balwinder Dhaliwal, Congress MLA of Phagwara and Dr. Dharambir of Taran Taran have been found infected with the coronavirus. I wish them well soon. " It is noteworthy that before this, cabinet minister Trupt Rajinder Singh Bajwa was found to be coronavirus positive. He was the first minister to be found positive in the state. Later the infection was also found in the wife and son of the minister.
In the last few days, there has been a huge increase in the cases of Coronavirus infection in Punjab. A total of 9,792 cases of coronavirus have been registered so far in the state, out of which 246 patients have lost their lives. On the other hand, talking about the country, Corona cases in the whole country have reached close to the big figure of 11 lakhs.
