One of the well-Known lyricists and music composers Jaani of Punjab met with a road accident on Tuesday evening. As per the information, his SUV in which he was traveling with two others collided with a car at the traffic lights near Sector 88. After the cars banged into each other, the accident was so massive that the cars flipped twice before turning turtle. Jaani and the two traveling with him were rushed to a private hospital in Mohali.

According to the statement of the Sohana SHO Gurjit Singh, the accident victims were taken to the hospital before the police arrived. Investigation on who was driving the vehicle is still on, and so far no case has been registered, suggest the reports

After the accident the singer took the instagram and shares a post for his fans stating that he and his friends are fine, “Ajj akha’n ne Maut Vekhi,,Par Fer BAABE NANAK nu vekheya,,,So ajj MAUT te RAB dono ikathe vekhe….Main te mere Dost theek aa’n ,just minor injuries  Duaa ch yaad rakheyo #JAANI (I saw death with my eyes today but then glimpsed God. So I saw death and God together. I and my friends are fine, we just have minor injuries. remember us in your prayers).” He also shared another statement, which read, “With the grace of almighty, we all present in the car at that time are fine. The authorities are doing due diligence in the matter, and we have been discharged from the hospital. Waheguru ne rakh le. Waheguru da shukr hai.”

Jaani is well known for writing songs like Titliyaan, Naah, Pachtaoge, Dhokebaaz among many more. Various artists like Gauahar Khan, Stebin Ben, Asees Kaur, Ammy Virk, Ravi Dubey, Sophie Choudry among others shared get well soon wishes for the singer.
