Dehradun: The BJP has created history by winning the Assembly elections in Uttarakhand. However, who will be made the Chief Minister (CM) of this hill state has not been cleared for a long time. In fact, the reason for this was believed to be the defeat of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami election. However, he has now become the new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.

Yes, in the past, he has lost the election from the Khatima Assembly seat and due to this, it was being said that he will not become the CM of Uttarakhand again, however, nothing of the sort happened and once again Pushkar Dhami has become the CM of Uttarakhand. A meeting of the BJP Legislature Party was called in Uttarakhand today (on Monday) and now the announcement has been made. The meeting in Dehradun was attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh as the Union Observer and Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi as co-observer and the name of the new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand came up.

On Sunday, PM Modi held an important meeting regarding the formation of the government in UP, Goa and Uttarakhand. Yes, home minister Amit Shah and defence minister Rajnath Singh were also present. Till yesterday, the names of Pushkar Singh Dhami, state president Madan Kaushik, former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, senior leader Satpal Maharaj and former Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank were being considered as the future CM of Uttarakhand, though now the chief minister has become Pushkar Singh Dhami.
