Devi Sri Prasad, who composed the music for director Sukumar's superhit film 'Pushpa - The Rise,' has revealed that he would make his acting debut soon.

The ace music director, who is well-known in both the Tamil and Telugu cinema industries, told the reporters, "My sole ambition was to be a musician, which is why I first turned down a few acting roles. However, the epidemic has altered my perspective. It got me thinking, and I decided to give everything I'm excellent at a go. As a result, I'll be making my acting debut very shortly. That work has already begun."

The music director expressed his delight at the success of 'Pushpa's songs in all five languages in which the film was released. He said, "I'm ecstatic and overjoyed. The time and work put into all of the songs has paid off handsomely. It took me approximately a month to finish each and every song in the film. I carefully chose the vocalists to fit a certain language.

"Andrea Jeremiah, who sang the Tamil song "Oo Solriya," was really filming. She sang the song after obtaining permission from the shoot. I appreciate all of the vocalists and lyricists that worked with me. "Sid Sriram was eager to perform 'Srivalli,' as it was a new song for him. In their native tongues, all five songs appear to be more real. We were aware that this wasn't a dubbing project, but rather a pan-Indian picture, and we wanted the quality to match."

Devi Sri Prasad responded to another enquiry on how he dealt with success by saying, "I always take things to my heart, not my intellect, whether it's success or loss. We put up the same level of work in all of our songs, and some of them go on to become hits while others do not. We'll have to be ready for both scenarios. What matters is that you work hard and be consistent."
