Indore: There is not only an age difference between the mayoral candidates of the BJP and the Congress but there is also a huge difference in the property. Congress candidate Sanjay Shukla is a billionaire while the BJP candidate is a millionaire. However, from the point of view of the Congress candidate, the BJP candidate's assets will come out to be only one per cent.

Talking about the property, due to the filing of nomination, Sanjay Shukla had said that he had assets worth Rs 170 crore, while Bhargava has assets worth about 2.5 crore. Sanjay Shukla owns 75 cars. In the 2018 assembly elections, he had 50 cars. They have luxury cars like BMW, Mercedes and Range Rover. There are also vehicles like JCBs, dumpers, cranes, trucks, tractors, trolleys, hydras, etc.

Bhargava has only a Honda City car and his wife Juhi has a Toyota Etios car. Talking about cash, Sanjay Shukla has more than 68 lakh rupees in cash and his wife Anjali has 67 thousand rupees in cash. In the form of FDs and other deposits, there are 3 crores 14 lakh 46 thousand 975 rupees in the bank and 7 lakh 77 thousand 963 rupees in the account of the wife. Shukla has a residential building worth 12 crores 66 lakh 80 thousand rupees. At the same time, BJP's Pushyamitra Bhargava has assets worth about Rs 2.5 crore including bank accounts, policies, jewellery, two cars, two-flats, one residential plot, etc. He has movable assets worth about Rs 62.99 lakh, including a Honda City car, deposits in banks and 49 grams of gold. Similarly, his wife Juhi owns movable assets worth Rs 19.73 lakh, including two-wheelers, 151 grams of gold, cash and deposits in banks. Bhargava has an insurance cover of Rs 16 lakh from two policies. There is no policy in the name of the wife. Son Sanghmitra has insurance of Rs 1 lakh. Similarly, Sanjay Shukla said that he has 4,000 grams of gold and 2,600 grams of silver, the total value of which is 1.65 crore. At the same time, his wife has 6 thousand grams of gold and 3 thousand grams of silver, which is worth 1.75 crores. Bhargava owns 49 grams of gold, which is valued at Rs 2,75,000. His wife has 151 grams of gold ornaments worth 6 lakh 33 thousand rupees. They both have debts, too. Sanjay Shukla has a loan of Rs 32.85 crore and his wife has a loan of Rs 16.90 crore. Shukla also has a revolver. Talking about the land, there is agricultural land in Jakhya, Baroli, Bada Bangada and Pipalya Kumhar, which is estimated to be worth Rs.26.42 crore. However, there are no arrears of government accommodation, electricity, water, telephone, or mobile bills on them. Pushyamitra has liabilities of about 15 lakh 74 thousand rupees and his wife 9 lakh 99 thousand rupees, both of them have total liabilities of about 26 lakh rupees. Bhargava owns two flats and a residential plot, which are estimated to be worth around Rs 1 crore.
