MOSCOW, 30 MARCH: Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are unlikely to meet until an agreement is ready for signing, said the the leader of Russia's negotiating team Vladimir Medinsky.
Medinsky, who is also a Russian President's adviser, said in a statement that a treaty must be created and authorised by negotiators before a prospective meeting of the presidents can be discussed. The treaty must then be endorsed by the foreign ministries.
This will not be easy, especially given the summit might be multilateral and include state guarantors of Ukraine's peace and security, he was cited as saying by the media report.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said his administration is in talks with foreign partners about petroleum supply to Ukraine, as per Ukraine media reports.Shmyhal said that Ukraine's indirect damages from the conflict with Russia are estimated to be more than USD1 trillion.
