Star badminton player PV Sindhu defeated Rituparna Das on Wednesday as expected, but her team has been eliminated from Hyderabad Hunters Premier Badminton League (PBL). Sindhu, the defending world champion and Rio Olympics silver medalist, defeated Rituparna of Pune Aces 15-7 15-8 and ended the PBL with a win.

According to reports, Mithun Manjunath, who made his debut in PBL, defeated Hyderabad trump player Priniyashu Rajawat 15-11 11-15 15-13. Earlier, Pune's Chirag Shetty and Hendra Setiawan had a 15-12 15-9 win over Ben Lane and Sean Wendy.

For information, let us tell you that in the mixed doubles for Hyderabad, the pair of Vladimir Ivanov and NS Reddy defeated Chris Adcock and Gabriel Adcock 15-9 11-15 15-8. At the same time, both teams are losing their trump matches and going 1-1. The decider and the match will result in the fifth match.
