PV Sindhu, the ace India Shutter crashed out of the China Masters Grand Prix Gold badminton match.In the quarter final Women’s singles tournament Porntip Buranaprasertsuk of Thailand defeat Sindhu by 21-17,21-19. Prior, HS Prannoy, seeded seventh, failed to hitch top seed and world no 1 Chen Long to lose in straight games.

Chen won 21-10, 21-15 in a contest that lasted 46 minutes. India's star women's doubles pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashiwini Ponnappa to failed to reach the semi-finals. The Indian pair failed to overcome top seeded Chinese duo of Luo Ying and Luo Yu in straight sets 21-11 21-14 in just 39 minutes.

Meanwhile, Pranaav and Akshay bowed out of the competition after going down to seventh seeded Chinese grouping of Wang Yilyu and Zhang Wen 17-21, 12-21 in 36 minutes in the second round of men's doubles.
