New Delhi: This time the FIFA World Cup is in the headlines for some more reasons than football. Radical and India's wanted fugitive criminal Zakir Naik was invited to attend the event that began on Sunday (November 20) in the Islamic country Qatar. Qatar has now told the truth after India strongly objected to it.
According to the report, Qatar has conveyed to India through diplomatic channels that it did not extend any official invitation to fugitive Islamic preacher Zakir Naik to participate in the FIFA World Cup held in Qatar. Qatar says that other countries have deliberately spread this misinformation so that India-Qatar bilateral relations can be spoiled. In fact, India immediately accommodated its objection to Qatar as soon as it was informed about fugitive criminal Zakir Naik's involvement in the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup. The Indian government had bluntly told Qatar that if Zakir Naik was invited to watch football from the VVIP box, India would be forced to cancel Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's visit. Let me tell you that after strictness by India, Qatar may be refusing to give an official invitation to Zakir Naik, but his picture entering the stadium went viral on social media. The picture of the fugitive criminal was shared by a Twitter user named Anshul Saxena from his handle.

However, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived at the opening ceremony and returned to India the very next day. In fact, the Middle East Media Research Institute, an organization based in Washington, USA, had told in its report that Qatar has invited Islamic preacher Zakir Naik related to FIFA's opening ceremony.
